Customized Installations

We design customized installations, which are created with a specific client application in mind. Each of them is different and responds to an existing industrial problem. In the scope of these installations there are also pilot installations.

Pilot installations are projects leading to the identification of existing implementation barriers and gathering “know-how” on the process. Such installations allow the collection of data, including the testing of different process conditions, the use of different substrates or several process concepts. Collecting an appropriate amount of data allows for a later more beneficial implementation of projects related to the examined process. This allows to minimize investment and operating costs of the target installation.

When designing a pilot or dedicated installation, it is necessary to first break down the process under consideration into so-called basic processes and consider which of them are the bottlenecks. Bottlenecks inhibit the speed of production, therefore their elimination or reduction of impact plays a key role in the design and subsequent implementation of the pilot plant. Then, a concept of the installation should be prepared, taking into account the equipment enabling to perform the specified basic processes. While designing, it is necessary to remember about size and process limitations of the installation. The design of the pilot installation is carried out in close cooperation with the customer.

Liquid phase
bioreactors

Pro-mill’s liquid phase bioreactor is a compact system built on a SKID frame designed to carry out biotechnology processes on liquid substrates on a scale from laboratory to industrial.

Homogenizers

A homogenizer-type mixer is used to carry out the homogenization process consisting of combining two unmixed components into a stable, homogeneous mixture.

Mixers

The selection of an appropriate mixing system depends on the properties of the substance and the process conditions under which the device is to operate.

Clean In Place stations

The CIP (Clean In Place) washing station is used to clean equipment, production lines and industrial pipelines in closed circuit.

Spray dryers

There are five types of these devices – convection, membrane, radiant, dielectric and microwave and special. One of the types of convection dryers is spray dryer and fluidized bed dryer produced by our company.

Solid phase
bioreactors

Pro-mill’s solid phase bioreactor is used to carry out biotech processes on solid substrate. The installation is mounted on a SKID frame and has all the necessary equipment for the process.

Chemical reactors

Chemical reactors are devices used to carry out a given process with respect to relevant process parameters, e.g. temperature, pressure.

Mixers
for solid products

Mixers for solid products are widely used e.g. in food, cosmetic and agricultural industries.

Disk filters

Disk filters are a new, innovative filtration method, based on the use of ceramic discs with an accuracy of 2um to even 5nm.
